One of the things that drives me is a desire to see others succeed. My nature of my profession means it’s often an invisible operation, but that doesn’t diminish its value. A job done well means readers are not getting hung up on dense sentences or silently judging typos, and I’m happy just to know that the role I play makes a difference.
